Description
NA This synopsis is modified to incorporate the determination for this solicitation to go unrestricted. Any questions regarding this solicitation should be addressed to Esther Elson at email address(Esther.Elson@nws02.usace.army.mil). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Seattle District, is seeking sources to perform multi-craft services for preventive maintenance and repairs for temporary wooden buildings at Fort Lewis, Washington. Proposed procurement will result in award of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contrac t consisting a base year and 4 optional years. Services include providing 24hour/7 day call desk prioritizing service orders, provide preventive maintenance program for heating and cooling systems (furnaces, boilers, air-conditioning units), including mai ntenance, repair, commercial kitchen equipment repair, minor construction incidental to services, dining facilities repairs and pest control. Building types include administrative offices, dining facilities, barracks, motor pools and other buildings norma lly found at Army installations. To perform successfully, the contractor must be experienced in this type of work, which includes: (a) preventive maintenance of heating systems (cyclic), (b) plumbing, (c) electrical, (d) commercial kitchen equipment rep air and servicing, (e) pest control in dining facilities, (f) handling a Service Call Desk and prioritizing service orders, and (g) utilizing computer systems for keeping records of services performed. This solicitation will be issued as a Ele ctronic Bid Set (EBS) on Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Web page in electronic format only. No disks will be mailed. Firms must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ in order to r eceive notification about amendments. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 24 January 2003 with a proposal due date on or about 28 February 2003.
