Description

The Export Import Bank of the US intends to solicit, and negotiate with only one source, Institute of International Finance, Inc., under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). IIF is the only known world global association of financial institutions, which meets the changing needs of the international financial community. Membership in the Institute allows members to receive valuable, timely, accurate, and objective information with which to assess risk, manage portfolios, and develop business in emerging market economies. Some of the reports provided are economic reports, key indicators, comparative country statistics, and near term prospects for Emerging Market Economies. The period of membership is from February 1, 2003 through January 31 2004. This acquisition is under NAICS 514191. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a sole source requirement and if no affirmative written responses are received that a comparable source is available, a sole source will be negotiated. Responses must be received, in writing, within thirty (30) calendar days of publication of this notice. Interested parties must submit sufficient descriptive literature with their response to prove their capability to respond to the requirements. Responses must be in writing. NO TELEPHONE OR FAX RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
