Description
This is a 100% small business set-aside for the Lease of a Reach Stacker. It is anticipated that this contract will be for a base period from 20 JAN 03 through 19 JAN 04 with one one-year option period. The contractor will be required to perform preventative and corrective maintenance, provide preparation and set-up services, training, and transportation of the equipment between two Naval Bases in the same geographic area. The equipment will be used outdoors, near saltwater and subject to all weather conditions. FOB Destination to Naval Magazine Indian Island, Port Hadlock, WA. The Reach Stacker will be required to meet the following maximum capabilities when lift 8'x 40' or 8' 20' containers: Capacity nine foot six inches - 59, 000 lbs. capacity in first row at five containers high. 68,000 lbs. capacity in second row at four containers high. 35,000 lbs. capacity in third row at three containers high. Capacity eight foot six inches - 90,000 lbs. capacity in first row at five containers high. 44,000 lbs. capacity in second row at five containers high 35,000 lbs. capacity in third row at three containers high. Container Size: 40 feet by 8 feet and 20 feet by 8 feet. Lifting speed - .6 ft. per second loaded and .7 ft. per second unloaded. Lowering speed - .8 ft. per second loaded and .6 ft. per second unloaded. Boom - Hydraulic telescoping type with twin lifting cylinders capable of lifting maximum capacity from 0 to 60 degree angle. Attachment - Telescopic twenty to forty foot with side shift of 62 inches (+ or - 31 inches either side) rotation of + 200 degrees and - 100 degrees. Twist-lock indicator lights on attachment. Transmission - Automatic with 4 speeds forward and 4 speeds reverse. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not Available at this time.
