Description

NA This sources sought announcement is for the purpose of market research. The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Knox, Kentucky, is soliciting sources interested in providing truck drivers to U.S. Army Accessions Command to drive the exhibit trucks and work wi th a master recruiter. The truck drivers would drive a semi-tractor trailor exhibit truck approximately 350 - 500 miles per day and assist the master recruiter in setting up the exhibit (involves 12 semi-tractor trailer trucks). The touring exhibits are us ed for recruiting purposes at high schools, colleges and universities. There are four distinct touring seasons: Fall (second week in September through the second week in December), Spring (second week in January through the last week in May), Summer (last week in May through mid-July), and Fall Fair (mid-August through mid-September). Driver must be able to tour 12 months of the year, possess a valid commercial driver license (CDL), operate audiovisual equipment, maintain and conduct operator level preventa tive maintenance checks and services on commercial tractor-trailer vehicles. Driver will assist in presentations. Interested business firms are requested to submit literature, brochures and capability summaries identifying, at a minimum, business size, pas t and/current performance on similar contracts with contract numbers and applicable points of contact to include current telephone numbers. Information must be received by February 20, 2003, at 4:00 p.m. (local time).
