Description

** Response date has been extended to 15 Jan 2003. ** ** A site visit has been scheduled for Tuesday, 7 Jan 2003 at 10:00 AM. Meet at the 7th Contracting office, 381 Third Street, Dyess AFB, TX 79607. Contact A1C Jimmie SKender at (915) 696-1085 by 4:00 PM Friday, 3 Jan 2003 if you plan on attending. ** ** This is a non-appropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Non-appropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sales of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This purchase does not involve federal tax dollars. ** Project calls for the construction of a car wash with three manual wash bays for privately owned vehicles, complete at Dyess AFB, TX. Work includes but is not necessarily limited to the Car Wash Facility complete with equipment and supporting pavement/curbs and gutters/sidewalks, landscaping, and all supporting utilities. Option Bid Item Prices will be taken for various desirable, yet non-essential supporting features. The estimated construction cost range (Basic Bid) is between $250,000 and $500,000. The estimated construction time is 180 calendar days.
