Description: NA This acquisition is for ambulance service to transport patients to and from Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) and other medical facilities within a three hundred mile radius. Aeromedical Evacuation service to and from local airfields is required. Transpo rt may require BLS, ALS, or MIC units. Transport of ambulatory patients is required. Service is required 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, management, supervision, vehicles, supplies, equipment for transportation. Criminal background checks are required. The contractor shall ensure that no minor children under the age of 18 years old are transported to BAMC without a chaperone, parent/guardian or Medical Treatment Facility Staff person, whose back ground check has been completed. Call response time is 30 minutes. This procurement is unrestricted and all responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. This requirement will be processed under commercial item procedures and wil l begin 01 February 2002 through 30 September 2003. Award will be made on or by 7 Jan 2003.
