RUBBER HOSE PROVIDED UNDER THIS NSN HAS A SHELF LIFE PERIOD OF 144 MONTHS (12 YEARS) CODE X,AND SHALL COMPLY WITH THE APPROPRIATE AGE CONTROL REQUIREMENT STANDARD FOR BULK HOSE OR HOSE ASSEMBLIES PER SAE AS-1933 OR SAE J-517 AS APPLICABLE. BULK HOSE OR HOSE ASSEMBLIES DELIVERED TO THE GOVERNMENT SHALL HAVE A CURE DATE NO OLDER THAN 8 YEARS PRIOR TO DELIVERY TO GOVERNMENT. MANUFACTURERS OR SUPPLIERS THAT STORE HOSE(S) FOR PERIODS EXCEEDING 90 DAYS MAY BE AUDITED PERIODICALLY, BY U.S.GOVERNMENT REPRESENTATIVES, TO ASSURE COMPLIANCE WITH STORAGE REQUIREMENTS IN THE RUBBER MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION (RMA) HOSE HANDBOOK, IP-2,CHAPTER 9. B/E AEROSPACE - SMR 0ACH0 P/N 5A1020 BOEING CO THE 81205 P/N 10-2429-1 Quantity required 114 Ea ; Delivery to Tinker AFB, Ok and DD New Cumberland, Pa within 120 days ADO, FOB Destination; Inspection/Acceptance at Origin . This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
