Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Sole Source contract, as a follow-on effort to contract N00421-03-P-0124, to EDO Electronic Systems Group, Deer Park, NY for non-recurring engineering work to fabricate, test, and deliver three (3) four-element antennas. EDO is currently the only established firm that produces antennas that are Foreign Comparative Testing (FCT) and flight-clearance certified, possesses the engineering expertise for this N100-3-1 AJ antenna, and owns the technical proprietary data required to produce and deliver the modified antenna with connectors relocated to fit on the AV-8B platform, however, all interested parties may submit information documenting their technical capabilities directly relating to this tasking to the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland. The Government retains the right not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice. See Numbered Note 22.
