Description

NA The United States Property and Fiscal Office for New York (USP&FO-NY)is seeking bids for the renovation of an aircraft hangar/avionics/ECM facility at the 106th Rescue Wing, NYANG, Gabreski ANGB, 150 Riverhead Road, Westhampton Beach, New York 11978-1201. The proposed contract is set aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small business concerns. Offers from other than HUBZone contractors will not be considered. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) fo r this acquisition is 23320, and the small business size standard is $28.5 million dollars. The estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. The acquisition is for renovation of walls, floors, ceilings, doorw ays, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, the installation of new fire protection systems, and the provision of temporary trailers for displaced personnel during the project, per specifications and drawings provided by the Government. The contracto r will work closely with the base civil engineer, and will be required to submit a progress schedule for approval. The performance period is 365 calendar days after issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Work includes a base bid item and one optional bid item. The solicitation, drawings and specifications (on CD-ROM) will be available on or about 14 January 2003, with a tentative bid opening date of 13 February 2002. To request bid documents, submit a certified check, bank check, or money order in the amount o f $50.00 to the United States Property and Fiscal Office for New York, Attn: MNPF-PC, Room 214, 330 Old Niskayuna Road, Latham, NY 12110-2224. This fee is non-refundable. Numbered Note 27 is applicable to this acquisition.
