Description
The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Pier Papa (Old Navy Base), NESU Charleston, 1050 Register Street, North Charleston, South Carolina. The project work consists of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials for the replacement of the wood fender system and dolphins at the northeast end of the pier. This project also include repairs of the longitudinal and transverse expansion joints of the main pier slabs and the installation of a metal plate to cover the joints. Performance time is 45 days. The estimated price range of the complete project is between $100,000.00 - $250,000.00. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 234990, All Other Heavy Construction, with a size standard of $27.5 million. Bid opening date is February 25, 2003, 2:00 pm . Bid guarantee, payment and performance bonds are required. Contract will be awarded pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
