Description

Lease for an 8 month period commencing February 1, 2003 and ending September 30, 2003, one 36,000 lb. excavator with 24" heavy-duty bucket and ripper tooth. Price to include delivery to and pickup from Rocky Mountain National Park as necessary. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation(s). The solication document and incorportated clauses and provisions are those in effect through FAC 10. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 532412 and the small business size standard is $5 million. The provision at 52.213-4 Terms and Conditions, Simplified Acquisitions (09/2002) applies. The following clauses apply: 52.208-4 Vehicle Lease Payments (04/1984), 52.208-5 Condition of Leased Vehicles (04/1984), 52.208-6 Marking of Leased Vehicles (04/1984), and 52.228-8 Liability and Insurance-Leased Motor Vehicles (05/1999).
