Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce intends to contract for water treatment and testing services for the Herbert C. Hoover building's (HCHB) central chiller system, the 24-hour chiller system, and the White House visitor center chilled water system located at 14th & Constitution Ave., NW, Washington, DC. The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, personnel, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to provide water treatment and testing services as specified in the statement of work. This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 221310 and the size standard is $6.0 million. The duration of this contract is from the date of award through September 30, 2003 with (4) one-year option periods. The solicitation, notice, and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (Fed Biz Opps) site at www.fedbizopps.gov/. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. The solicitation will be issued as a commercial item acquisition on or about January 23, 2003. All questions regarding this pre-solicitation should be address to Ms. Cherita Toulson.
