- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 2.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation number is DTCG89-03-Q-JVS027 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-6. This acquisition is unrestricted under NAICS Code 721110. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The Government proposes to solicit quotes for the following item: Item 001 ? Vendor shall provide nine (9) single occupancy hotel rooms for the period 01 February 2003 through 30 September 2003, inclusive. The Government shall have the option to increase the number of single occupancy rooms from one (1) to five (5) additional rooms beginning 01 April 2003. Additional rooms will be added as Coast Guard members arrive in Valdez, AK during the month of April 2003. Any rooms added in April 2003 will be charged for only the number of nights actually occupied during that month. Additional rooms added during the month of April 2003 will be occupied until 30 September 2003. The maximum number of rooms that the contractor is required to provide at the contracted rate is fourteen (14). If the hotel has additional rooms (up to a maximum of four (4) at any one time) available, the Government shall have the right to order additional rooms at the contract rate applicable for the period these additional rooms are ordered. Any of these additional rooms may only be ordered by the Contracting Officer. The Government reserves the right to cancel all or part of the rooms contracted for, without cancellation penalty or payment of the room rental rate, by giving the contractor 30 days advance notice of the time and number of rooms to be cancelled. The hotel is required to be listed on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Certified Hotel Listing. Each room shall be equipped with a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave oven, TV, and VCR, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, programmable secure keycard entry door, hardwired smoke alarm, and table with 3 chairs. Vendor shall provide quotes using the following method: 001A: 9 rooms priced per room per night for each month beginning February 01, 2003 through September 30, 2003. 001B: 1 ? 5 rooms priced per room per night for each month beginning April 1, 2003 through September 2003. THIS ORDER IS SUBJECT TO THE SERVICE CONTRACT ACT OF 1965. DOL WAGE DETERMINATION 94-2018, REV 22, DTD 2/21/02 IS APPLICABLE.
