- Description
- The 42d Contracting Squadron to issue an unrestricted request for proposal (RFP) for a concessionaire contract for barber services for the Maxwell Enlisted Club, Maxwell AFB, AL. The performance period shall be 16 March 2003 through 15 March 2004 with four-one-year options to extend. The solicitation will be issued on or about 03 February 2003. In order to be issued a DOD contract, a contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website address is www.ccr2000.com or call 1-888-227-2423. The insurance requirements are as follows: the concessionaire will maintain, during any contract period, insurance coverage listed herein with insurance company(ies) acceptable to NAFI. The insurance coverage to be maintained follows: a. The following with coverage limits complying with state or military installation requirements, whichever is greater, where this contract is performed. (1) Workers Compensation and Employers Liability Insurance (2) Automobile Injury and Property Damage Liability for vehicles operated in performance of the contract by the concessionaire or concessionaires agents or employees on the military installation, whether or not owned by the concessionaire. b. The following coverage will be maintained and, as required by the Contracting Officer, the concessionaire will furnish a Certificate of Insurance, evidencing that insurance is in effect.: (1) Comprehensive General Liability in minimum limits: $100,000 for personal injury for each occurrence $300,000 aggregate $50,000 for each occurrence for property damage $50,000 aggregate (2) Products Liability Insurance in minimum limits: $100,000 for injury to or death of any one person $100,000 for each accident or occurrence $300,000 for aggregate products bodily injury liability $50,000 for property damage liability $25,000 for aggregate products property damage liability. This is a nonappropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This purchase does not involve federal tax dollars. Only written request, fax or email, for a copy of the RFP will be accepted.
