- Description
- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) Technical Operations Branch is soliciting sources to provide both capabilities statement and descriptive literature on systems that could meet ATF?s requirement for long haul video transmission system. The system must be deployable and capable of both quick installation and operation. The video transmission system must be capable of transmitting or delivering real time video (30 frames per second) to desired locations within the continental United States without any loss or compromise of the data. ATF will accept solicitations for satellite transmission systems, wireless LAN systems, and any new technology that is quickly deployable and can perform the transmission requirements required by ATF. ATF may accept proposals for T-1, Modem Cable systems, and ISDN systems, if the time required to setup and operate these systems meets ATF?s 4 hour requirement. ATF has a requirement for transmitting full motion video (30 frames per second) to various locations and distances within the continental United States. This requirement is to position ATF listening posts in various locations. The long haul video transmission system must have command and control functions that strategically plan the operation.
