- Notice of Contract Action. The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB AL, intends to award on a sole source basis to purchase custom programming and services to write, test and install custom utilities and to run software which will export acquisition, bibliographic and circulation records from the GEAC Advance integrated Library System for import into the Endeavor Voyager Integrated Library System. GEAC Computers, Inc, is the known owner of the GEAC Advanced Integrated Library System and the proprietary software used to operate it. The government proposes to award to GEAC Computers, Inc., 120 Turnpike Road, Southborough MA 01772-2104. Solicitation Number is F73AUL23441100. No request for proposals will be issued. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This will be firm-fixed price contract. If there are other firms that can provide the services stated above, a response to this notice must be received before 2:00 PM (Central Time) on 27 Jan 2003. If no responses are received by this date/time, a sole source contract with GEAC Computers, Inc. will be pursued. The POC for this notice is Mary Peters.
