Description
NA This mission includes the research, analysis, and operational development necessary to identify and build Critical Infrastructure Protection and Asset Assurance activities to ensure strategic land transportation capabilities on a global scale. The Contra ctor shall develop and execute the MTMC CIP program as directed by the MTMC CIP Program Manager (PM)for current and future DOD critical surface transportation infrastructure assets. Development shall include support to MTMC in identifying and assessing vul nerability of critical DOD surface transportation infrastructures to protect them from identified vulnerabilities (to include emerging threats), both physical and cyber-based. The Contractor shall accomplish the following major tasks of the MTMC CIP progr am: 1) Continue identification and support the USTRANSCOM mapping of critical surface transportation assets at current Tier-I nodes; 2) Support continued USTRANSCOM development of the DOD Transportation database of critical surface transportation DTS asset s through information and data gathered at vulnerability assessment sites; 3) Support USTRANSCOM analyses of surface transportation interdependencies among critical transportation assets and those of other DOD Sectors and agencies, and commercial/civil cri tical assets; 4) Build and execute the MTMC CIP program vulnerability assessment plan, to include acting as information sharing resource between MTMC and USTRANSCOM; 5) Continue directed assessment support to the USTRANSCOM CIP Program as directed by the M TMC CIP PM and in coordination and compliance with the USTRANSCOM CIP Vulnerability Assessment methodology; 6) Provide required MTMC updates to the Transportation Defense Infrastructure Sector Assurance Plan (DISAP); and 7) Support the MTMC CIP PM and, wh en directed, attend CIP-related meetings. The anticipated performance period is 18 February 2003 through 30 September 2003, and will include two one-year(12 months options, to commence 01 October 2003 and 30 September 2004. The NAICS code for this requirem ent is 541990. The applicable size standard is $6,000,000. Anticipated release date for Request for Proposal(RFP)is 22 January 2003 with a closing time and date of 10:00 A.M. EST on 5 February 2003.
