Size: length 21.70 inches long X 0.449 inches Shaft and end adapter approximately 2.10 inches wide Predominant material Drive cable is AMS 5678 cres and outer casing is AMS 5591 cres Form Fit and Function Flex Shaft turns actuator ball screw with signal from convergent exhaust nozzle control to open and close augment or nozzle throat area. Applicable to: F100/200 Engine. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 28 Feb 2003. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 27 Nov 02. The anticipated award date will be 06 Jan 03. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation, to the following: Honeywell and Pratt & Whitney. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
