Description
NA Solicitation Notice: Project #JKSE 989045, New construction of the Munitions Load Crew Training Complex ? The work consists of furnishing and performing all supervision, plant, labor, equipment, materials, testing, and incidentals in strict accordance with the Specifications and Drawings. The facility will be constructed at the 120th FW Montana Air National Guard Base located at the Great Falls International Airport, Great Falls, Montana. This is federal property and requires compliance with all environme ntal, industrial hygiene, and occupational safety regulations and laws. This project provides for a new 697 SM (7500 SF) munitions load crew training complex. The load crew training complex will have one large open bay to accommodate one assigned F-16 aircraft, load crew equipment, and various personnel. The load crew traini ng complex will also have an administration area for a classroom, office, and restroom. This project will also include a 322 SM (3460 SF) addition to the existing weapons and release systems shop. The addition will provide functional areas to include: hig h bay shop space with drive through capabilities, adequate space for trailer storage and build-up functions, and additional locker-room areas. Construction will include site-work, utilities, concrete, masonry, metals, roofing, thermo and moisture protecti on, doors and windows, finishes, specialties, equipment, fire suppression and detection systems, mechanical and plumbing, and electrical. The estimated magnitude of the proposed construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 with a completion period of 365 days. The North American Industry Classification System code is 236220 with a size standard of $28.5 million. Bid Documents are anti cipated to be available on or about February 14,2003. A tentative deadline for the receipt of bids is March 18, 2003. This project will be solicited electronically using the electronic bid solicitation system (EBS). THE ONLY WAY TO RECEIVE BID DOCUMENTS IS TO REGISTER ON THE USPFO FOR MONTANA WEB SITE, HTTP://WWW.MONTANAGUARD.COM/USPFO_HOME.HTM. Once registered, prospective bidders can down load plans and specifications from the web site and a CD-ROM with the solicitation and plans and specifications on it will be mailed. All requests must indicate business size and minority status. By using the EBS system there will be no charge for the CD-ROM. After release of solicitation, you can review a paper copy of the bid documents in the Contracting Officer?s office. Telephone, fax, or written requests for bid packages or solicitation mailing lists will not be accepted. The solicitation mailing list will be available on the USPFO web site. A firm fixed-price contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder as a result of this solicitation. This solicitation is advertised on an unrestricted basis.
