NA THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number DAAH23-03-T-0164 is being issued as a request for quote. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 2001-11. The NSN is 4710-01-491-2860 and Part Number is 23065569. This is applicable to OH-58 D (Airframe). The quantity is 95 and the unit of measure is each. -PRON: AX3Q0064AX. Inspection and acceptance at Source. Inspection requirements : 52.246-2, 52.246-11, 52`246-16, and USAAMCOM 52.246-4003, Terminology/Calibration: ISO 8402 (Terminology), ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994 or ISO 10012:1992 (Calibration). FOB is Destination with deliveries for a quantity of 95 going to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000 . . Packaging requirements are: Quantity Unit Package (QUP) is 001. MIL-ST-129 markings shall apply. Level of Preservation (LOP) is Commercial and level of Pack (PK) is Commercial in accordance with ASTM D 3951. Loose-fill materials shredded paper ex celsior, polystyrene and other loose-fill materials are prohibited for use as cushioning/dunnage in all packaging operations. Certified for National Defense under the Defense Priority Rating and Allocations System ? Rating ? DOA1 (FAR 52.211-14, Defense P riority Rating for National Defense Use (Sep 1990)). Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This part is a commercial/non-deve lopmental/off-the-shelf item. The current approved sources are: Aviall Services, Inc., 2750 Regent Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75261-9048, Cage code 22819 and Rolls Royce Corp., 2001 South Tibbs Ave., Speed Code S-9, Indianapolis, IN 46241-4812, Cage Code 6300 5. This procurement requires pre-qualification. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency.
