Description
NAWCAD Lakehurst has been tasked to increase the magnitude of the current Repair of Repairables (ROR) BOA N68335-01-G-0038 with Aero Systems Engineering, Inc. for various levels of support for troubleshooting, repair and calibration of the existing Standard Engine Test System, (SETS P/N 3098AS7000-1 (A/E37T-36) and P/N 309AS7000-2 (A/F32T-10A). This BOA currently covers Training, Training Equipment/Technical Documentation; Computer Software, Packing and Transportation; Sustaining Engineering Support; Repair of GFP/GFE; Component rework; Technical data and information; and Emergency procurement of SETS components. This increase in scope of the requirement shall also incorporate FMS SETS units in addition to the domestic SETS units covered under the current BOA. BOA N68335-01-G-0038 was awarded under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c ) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Aero Systems Engineering, Inc. is the sole designer and manufacturer of the SETS, and is the only known firm possessing the knowledge, experience and technical expertise necessary to fulfill the Navy?s requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition, based on the responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
