Description

The Department of the Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Cent= er, San Diego (SSCSD) intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price indefinite deli= very indefinite quantity type contract to Verestar, 387 Passaic Ave., Suite = 203, Fairfield, NJ 07004, on a sole source basis, for installation support,= system upgrades, and life cycle support for the OE-556 Television Direct-to-Sailors (TV-DTS) antenna group. The proposed contract will cover procurement o= f supplies and engineering support services for TV-DTS. The proposed contract shall include production, assembly, and delivery of OE-556/TV-DTS Anten= na Group, Onboard Repair Parts, Installation and Checkout (INCO) Kits and Technical/Engineering Services. This notice of intent is not a request= for competitive proposals. However, all interest and capability statements= received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will= be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to= compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of = the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely fo= r the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 =A9(1)and FA= R 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services= will satisfy agency requirements.
