- Description
- In accordance with FAR Part 12, the Bureau of Census National Processing Center in Jeffersonville, Indiana, intends to award a commercial order to Liebert Global Services for maintenance and emergency service support, including parts, for four Liebert UPS systems and three Liebert power conditioning systems located at the Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, Indiana, and one Liebert UPS system located at the Census Bureau Telephone Center in Tucson, Arizona. The UPS systems are one 20 kVA, three 75 kVA, and one 125 kVA. The Census Bureau intends to award on a sole source basis per 41USC253, "Only One Responsible Source." The nominated vendor is the only source for the required proprietary technical support, maintenance, and software upgrades that are not available to independent providers. The technical support and upgrades are required to facilitate the processing requirements at the Census Bureau. Based on this, the Census Bureau believes no other offerors are currently available to fulfill the requirements of this order.
