- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to negotiate a sole source Purchase Order to the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) for the FHWA annual membership fee for the calendar year 2003. FHWA has been partners with AASHTO for several decades. The annual membership covers a blanket membership for an unlimited number of FHWA employees who participate in AASHTO meetings during the year. This membership enables FHWA and AASHTO to exchange ideas from a Federal and State perspective as well as discuss a variety of issues and matters related to highway transportation. Because AASHTO is the only source available to acquire this membership, no other known source available. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the award date is on or about February 21, 2003.
