Description

NA Request for Proposal (RFP) Number: DAAH23-02-R-0501, Amendment 4. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302-1. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. The only approved source is Par ker Aerospace. The time required for approval of a new supplier is such that award and delivery cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Firms that can recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify the mselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations; information regarding the process for source approval can be gathered by accessing the website http://www.redstone.army.mil/com/ and looking under SAR info rmation. All responsible sources may submit an offer, and all offers will be considered. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitations must be processed through their respective embassies. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation. A draft solicitation will be released within 15 days of this synopsis. The date annotated for closing is in relation to final RFP. No telephone requests will be accepted.
