- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-20. The solicitation number is F34601-03-Q-0185. The solicitation is a request for quotation (RFQ). Closing date for quotations will be received at the issuing office until 3:00 PM on 24 Feb 03. This is competitive with restrictions because the government cannot obtain the technical data to purchase this part, at this time, from other than the current sources: General Electric (CAGE 07482); Precision Metal Products (CAGE 10220). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336412. This is a requirement for Line Item 0001, NSN: 2840-01-072-5520NY, Vane Compressor, Air, Aluminum 7005, 11.5 inches by 8.5 inches by 2 inches, Application: TF-39 Engine--C5. Military long line packaging requirements apply in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1, Preservation Packing Level B and will be expressly stated on the individual order.
