- Description
- Solicitation 8003-21 Provide Single Engine Air Tanker flight services which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Land Management fire suppression programs. One airplane will be based at each of the following locations: Panaca, Nevada June 8, 2003 through September 5, 2003 - 90 calendar days; Erda, Utah (TVY) June 23, 2003 through August 31, 2003 -70 calendar days and Winnemucca, Nevada June 14, 2003 through September 11, 2003 - 90 calendar days. The contract period will be one year from date of award with a government unilateral option for two additional years. The contract requires a single turbine engine powered agricultural airplane with a payload of at least 500 US gallons of material weighing 4,600 pounds. The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is February 18, 2003. The solicitation will be available at this site and www.oas.gov/dam.
