Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.(II) Solicitation F1CRS1302220100 being issued as a request for proposal (RFP). (III) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-07. (IV) This requirement is being synopsized as a 100% small business set-aside under standard industrial classification code 5895, NAICS Code 334511, small business size standard of 750 EMPLOYEES. (V) Please propose the items as listed: Line item 0001, Explosives Detector, Hand-Held, PN EVD-3000. detects traces of plastic and high-vapor-pressure explosives, detects and identifies minute traces of C-4, TNT, Dynamite, PETN, Semtrex, EGDN, DMNB, RDX and Nitroglycerine. Portable, self-contained, samples both vapor and particulates, LCD display, audio alarm, operates of 12V DC rechargeable battery or external battery pack and AC adapter. Detection principle: Electrochemical detection, compounds to detect: ICAO, Tagants (EGDN, O-mnt, P-mnt). Capable of retrieving up to 896 data records. Qty. 2 EA. NOTE: If items on GSA contract, please list contract #:______________________ (VI) Supplied items shall be of a professional and quality industrial grade. (VII) Place of delivery: 613 CRS, Unit 14048, Bldg 14530, Andersen AFB, Guam, 96543. (VIII) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items applies. (IX) Provision 52-212-2, Evaluation _ Commercial Items applies. Proposal will be evaluated on price, and past performance. (X) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items with their offer. (XI) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items and any addenda the clause applies to this acquisition. (XII) Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to the award document. (XIII) Detection system shall meet all established commercial warranty requirements for measuring and controlling devices. (XIV) N/A. (XV) N/A. (XVI) A site visit will not be held.
