Description
The Regional Contracting Office, SW, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is soliciting sources to furnish temporary personnel support services to the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California and other federal agencies within the Southwest Region of the United States. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The solicitation number is M00681-03-R-0006. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery ? Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type. This is an unrestricted procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration. The requirement is for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The Government?s need is to purchase these services on a continuous, transactional basis. Task Orders will be issued under this contract on an ?as required? basis. These services are set-aside 100% for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 561320 and the Federal Supply Classification Code R699. The small business size standard is $11.5 million. The solicitation will be divided into lots by labor category type. They are: Lot I ? Administrative and Clerical; Lot II ? Automatic Data Processing; Lot III ? General Services and Support; Lot IV ? Technical and Professional; and Lot V ? Information and Arts. The purpose of organizing the solicitation in this fashion is to allow for a single award of all lots or split awards for multiple lots. Also, multiple awards for the same lots may be made, at the Government?s discretion. The purpose of multiple awards is to encourage competition during the life of the contract. Awards will be made to those offer(s) whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors. Any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be a DO rated order certified for National Defense use under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System. The Government anticipates a solicitation issue date of 24 February 2002.
