- This is a synopsis for market research purposes, and a solicitation m= ay or may not result. The associated NAICS code is 422120. The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for the following commercial items: 1) Thermal transfer poly labels with Tiger Melt Adhesive, Part number LD43POL3PW; Width: 4=94, Height: 3=94, Carrier:=20 4.125=94, Repeat: 3.125=94, Material: Thermal Transfer POLY, Adhesive:=20 Permanent Tiger Melt, 1 (one) label across, 1,980 labels per roll, Wind: in, Roll OD: 8=94, Core ID: 3=94, Perforated; 2) Ribbon: 102mm x 360M Resin Ribbon, Part number LDPR102CIS , 24 ribbons per case.=20 Labels and ribbon will be run on a Sato Printer Model M8400RVE. Labels are to not be removable once stuck to a box, an approximate attachment life of up to 75 years is expected. Environmental conditions in the Neosho records center vault may result in labels curling while being feed through the machine or later pealing of boxes; previous experience has also indicated ink smearing from labels, therefore we are requesting samples of both items.
