The M-Code User Equipment Engineering and Development contract is anticipated to be awarded in Mid-Fiscal Year 05 and the government desires the ability for industry to provide certified GPS M-code simulators to the M-code User Equipment industry base by that time. Interested parties should submit a Statement of Capability and date of simulator availability for GPS JPO certification NLT COB 26 February 2003. The Statement of Capability should be a maximum of 10 pages, single sided, and use a typeface no smaller than 10 points. The Statement of Capability should outline the following: Technical specifications, Estimated unit cost per simulator, Estimated schedule and timeline for delivery, Estimated cost for technical support, Experience and familiarity with GPS signal simulator systems, and Proven capabilities in development and test.
