Description

NA With this announcement, the Chicago District Corps of Engineers issues a Pre-solicitation Notice for its North Breakwater Repair, Burns Waterway Harbor project located in Porter County, Indiana. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all the nece ssary facilities, plants, labor, transportation, materials, and equipment to perform stone placement on repair areas of the north leg rubblemound breakwater. The Classification Code for this procurement is North American Industry Classification System (NAI CS) 237990 and is unrestricted to business size. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a firm-fixed-price construction contract. The estimated price range for this project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The Invitation for Bids wil l be downloadable from the INTERNET ONLY. The project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Minimum system requirements are a 486 based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater and 4 MB application RAM, 4MB hard disk space and compact disk drive. Interested Bidders can download the Invitation for Bid Package from Internet Site http://www.lrl.usace.army.mil/ebs by clicking on the appropriate solicitation num ber. The solicitation will be available on the Internet on or about 28 February 2003. The due date for bids will be on or about 1 April 2003 at 4:00 p.m. local time.
