Description
The officer in charge requires all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, supervision, safety and management necessary to provide annual maintenance service of the Fire Protection/Warning Systems at the Oceana Naval Air Station, Virginia Beach, Virginia, in accordance with the standards set forth in the UFC 3-600-02, OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE: INSPECTION, TESTING, AND MAINTENANCE OF FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS and the specifications set forth in the IFB. This procurement will result in the award of a combination firm fixed price definite delivery/ indefinite delivery type service contract for the preventative maintenance, inspection, operational testing, service call work (emergency, urgent and routine) and repair work. The contract term is for a period of one (1) year and the Government shall have the option to extend the term of the contract for up to an additional four (4) years. The total term of the contract shall not exceed 60 months. The North American Industry Classification Code is 561621 and the Size Standard is $10.5 million. This proposed procurement is set aside 100% for Small Business firms only. The Invitation for Bid (Bid Package) will only be available via the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site. It is estimated that the Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be posted on E-Sol on or about November 22, 2002. All interested persons are encouraged to go to the E-Sol Web Site now to register as a Plan Holder for this solicitation. Registering now will ensure that you are notified via e-mail when the IFB is actually posted and may be viewed and/or downloaded. All contractors must register on E-Sol before dowloading the IFB to ensure notification of Amendments and any other information issued relative to this IFB. The date and time for a site visit will be identified in the IFB, Section L. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (08-NOV-2002).
