Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA 93042-5001 is soliciting proposals for an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Time and Material type contract to procure on an unrestricted full and open competitive basis Organizational and Intermediate maintenance level Contractor Maintenance Services (CMS) support of Common Support Equipment at a naval fleet and shore activity located in Sigonella, Italy for the Naval Air Technical Data and Engineering Service Command (NATEC). The tasking requires personnel who will perform CMS at the Organizational and Intermediate maintenance level on Common Support Equipment, as follows: Basic Corrosion, Paint Finish, NCPP105 Gas Turbine, NAN-4 Nitrogen Service Unit, Type 2 Oxygen Recharging Service Trailer, A/M32C-17 Mobile Air Conditioning Unit, A/M24M-2 Portable Floodlight, NC-10 Mobile Electrical Power Plant, A/M27T-5 Hydraulic Power Supply, A/M27T-6 Hydraulic Power Supply, A/S32M-14 Aircraft Maintenance Crane, A/S32A-42 Aircraft Tow Tractor, A/S32A-30A SE Tow Tractor, A/M32A-108 Mobile Electric Power Plant, and DA-675/MSM Dummy Electric Load Bank. Additional personnel will be required to perform CMS at the Organizational and Intermediate maintenance level on the following aircraft engines and test cells: T56-A-14/16/425, T64-GE-416/416A/419, T58-GE-402, GTCP95-2/3, T56 A/F37T-19 (V) 1/2/3, T64 A/F37T-16 (V) 2, T58 A/F37T-16 (V) 1, and A/E37T-26A. The period of performance will commence approximately July 1, 2003 through 9/30/03 for a three (3) month base period, then Option 1 from 10/1/03 through 9/30/04 (12 months), Option 2 from 10/1/04 through 9/30/05 (12 months), Option 3 from 10/1/05 through 9/30/06 (12 months), Option 4 from 10/1/06 through 9/30/07 (12 months), Option 5 from 10/1/07 through 6/30/08 (9 months). In addition, FAR Clause 52.217-8 OPTION TO EXTEND SERVICES will be included in the solicitation and resultant contract. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued 01 April 2003. The solicitation shall be made available only via the Internet at the NAWCWD Contracts Homepage at https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm No hard copies of the solicitation will be furnished unless absolutely necessary. The anticipated due date for proposals is 02 May 2003; however, the actual proposal due date will be stated in the solicitation when issued. Proposal must be written in English and all costs proposed must be in US dollars.
