Description: NA Defense Contracting Command-Washington on behalf of the Clinical Information Technology Program Office (CITPO) of the Tricare Management Activity (TMA) is pleased to announce an Industry Day for Anatomical Pathology and Laboratory (AP/Lab) Commercial-off-t he-Shelf (COTS) software vendors. This Industry Day is the preliminary step in a Department of Defense (DOD) acquisition of an Enterprise-wide AP/Lab COTS software license and maintenance agreement for the Military Health System (MHS). This AP/Lab product will subsequently be integrated into DOD?s Composite Health Care System (CHCS) II software product. This half day presentation will include a briefing of the source selection process, an explanation of the AP/Lab technical and functional requirements, a question and answer session, and a CHCS II product demonstration. A few short breaks will be allocate d between sessions. The Industry Day will be held on Tuesday, 25 February 2003 and will run from 1:00 PM to approximately 4:00 PM. The event will be located at the Harper Center, 14700 Avion Parkway 100, Chantilly, VA 20151. Driving directions will be provided upon request. All arrangements will be made through the CITPO.
