Description

NA The work consists of providing a single mod fiber optic cable to Lock 2 to Montgomery Point Lock and Dam (MPLD) with patch panel at the Lock 2 and Lock 1 Control House and the MPLD Construction Trailer. Work includes plowing, boring, trenching, drilling, and splicing as indicated on the plans and specifications. It is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The North American Industrial Classification Standard is 238210 and the size standard is $12 Million. Project Duration is approximately 150 c alendar days. Estimated magnitude of work is between $500,000 - $1,000,000. Issue date for solicitation will be on or about March 4, 2003. This project is unrestricted. The solicitation is available on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and provided free of charge. IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE NUMBER OF CD-ROMS WILL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) PER FIRM. Plan and specifications will not be provided in a printed hard copy format. To requests plans and specifications Contractors must register on-line vie our Internet H omepage at https://ebs.swl.usace.army.mil All orders will be via first class mail - your CD-ROM will be mailed the same the Name of Firm, Point of Contact, Mailing address, Street Address for Parcel Delivery Service, Telephone and FAX Numbers (Including A rea Code), E-Mail Address, and Status (General Contractor, Subcontractor, Supplier, or Plan Room) are correct. Failure to provide the above information may cause a delay in receiving the CD-ROM and you will not receive an automatic notice of posted amendm ents.
