- This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is a 100% Small Business Set Aside for a three year requirements type services contract for storage of a maximum of twenty (20) Government Furnished Trailer Chassis, of which any combination (up to 20) may be: Eight Deuterium 2 (D2), Six Nitrogen Trifluoride (NF3), and Twenty-Four Helium. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 493110, size standard 1000. Trailers shall be stored at the contractor?s facility in accordance with Statement of Objectives, which will be incorporated into the RFQ. The contract awarded, as a result of this RFQ will be a three-year firm fixed price requirements type services contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The contractor?s facility must be capable of storing trailers in accordance with DOT requirements for parking distances between vehicles that transport hazardous material; must be completely enclosed by fencing, and capable of being locked, and have sufficient width, length and depth to accommodate the trailer height, wheels and landing gear (Dimension: length 34?4?, width 96?, and height 10?), to be stated in the SOO. This requirement is FOB origin the contractor?s facility, and unless other wise identified, all trailers will contain residual product, and will be delivered to/picked up from the Contractor?s facility by the Government. All potential offerors should contact the buyer identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns. Only written, emailed, or faxed requests for solicitations packages received directly from the requestor are acceptable. Only offers from small businesses will be considered and/or evaluated for award. The subject RFQ, to be issued on or about 18 February 2002, will be posted to FedBizOpps web page (www.fbo.gov) and will close for initial offers at 2:00 p.m. Central Time on 14 March 2003.
