- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION: The 99th Contracting Squadron/LGCB at Nellis AFB, NV intends to enter into a contract with a small business. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a Request for Quotation is being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotations are requested for sources with the capability of providing general purpose information technology equipment. The government will not pay for any information that is submitted in response to this Request for Quotation. Any information submitted is voluntary. This acquisition is set aside exclusively for small business concerns. The SIC code is 5826, the NAICS code is 334511, the size standard is 750 employees. The requirement is for the following equipment and supplies: (6) GENERAL DYNAMICS HANDHELD QUICKDRAW 2 INTERROGATOR FOR PRC-112 RADIOS, OR APPROVED EQUAL, SYSTEM WITH (6) INTERFACE CABLE KITS. (GENERAL DYNAMICS PART NUMBERS 01-P49800F0001 AND 67-P49857F001) This System quickly plugs into the intercom system of virtually any aircraft transforming it into a Search and Rescue (SAR) platform. Aircraft modifications are not required to connect to existing radio equipment.
