Description

The United States Air Force Academy intends to acquire one (1) reconditioned Cambridge Stereoscan 250 MK I, Scanning Electron Microscope with Turbo Vacuum System Cambridge Series 300/Sprint Motorized Stage GW Electronics Backscatter Detector Tungsten Electron Gun, 40Kv maximum KV Low pressure backfill system with 30psi Nitrogen duster ahead of low pressure regulator, three prealigned electromagnetic lenses, automatic Optibeam 400 micro amp electron gun supply, three externally selectable beam defining apertures, scan rotation, zoom magnification, split screen direct mag. Readout, on screen data at all scan speeds, x-axis scan rates as long as 192 milliseconds per sweep, power line synchronized sweep at all reecord speeds under FAR Parts 12 and 13 from Secondary Images, Solicitation F05611-03-T-0031. Interested firms have until 4:00 PM MST, 20 Feb 2003 to submit in writing to the identified point of contact, their qualifications/capabilities. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after 20 Feb 2003, 4:00 PM MST or without the required information will be considered nonresponsive to the synopsis and will not be considered. Based upon responses to this notice, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency.
