Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to procure on a full and open competition basis a Time and materials contract for repair and maintenance services on Ling Vibration equipment, Power Amps and associated equipment. The requirement is to provide repair and maintenance services, as requested via service call, on Ling 4022 Vibration Shakers, DMA 48 Power Amplifier, DMA-40PP Power Amplifier, A335B Electrodynamic Vibration Shaker and 6X6 Kimball Slip Table. The contract will contain additional firm fixed price CLINs (with a minimum order quantity of zero) for the following parts (maximum amount identified): 1) Armature, 3 each; 2) Upper Field Coil, 3 each; 3) Lower Field Coil, 3 each; 4) Lower Armature Bearing, 3 each; 5) Upper Armature Bearing, 3 each; 6) DMA Power Module, 3 each; 7) Power Logic Module, 4 each. The period of performance is one base year and two option years. The services shall be performed on-site at the Environmental Test Facilities, China Lake, Ca. The China Lake site of the NAWCWD is located adjacent to the city of Ridgecrest, approximately 150 miles north of Los Angeles in Southern California's upper Mojave Desert. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 811219. Any firm believing that they can provide the required services and products, may submit a written response to be received at the contracting office by the above response date, 3 March 2003. Detailed information will be provided with the solicitation that will be posted on or about 5 March 2003 at the 2.0 Contracts Competency homepage at: https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm. The solicitation will close on or about 4 April 2003. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at the following website: https://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil/ccr/scripts/index.html. Responses must include all information requested in the written Request for Proposal (RFP). All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The written response must clearly demonstrate the respondent's ability to satisfy the government's requirement. Responses shall be submitted to William Monckton (see POC details above). Award will be made on or about 30 April 2003. Notes 1 and 26 apply.
