- Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The CONTRACT SPECIALIST WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION. The solicitation is set aside under the Section 8(a) Contracting program. It is for a one year Indefinite Quantity Contract and contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the Government, not to exceed six additional years. The primary FSCs to be covered under this project are 4710 and 4730. All NSNs are available for download under the "Acquisition Download" menu item on DSCC Internet Bid Board System(DIBBS) under the subject heading "DSCC Corporate Solicitations". Access is directly available at http://dibbs.dscccols.com. Access is also available via the World Wide Web at http://www.dscc.dla.mil/programs/corporate_contracts/cc.asp. Please do not forget to return the completed Section B information by disk, and the completed RFP to the DSCC bid room by the closing date. If you do not have a Section B disk, please download this information from the excel file located on the Internet. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. See Note(s):4,9 and 26. The solicitation will be available on its estimated issue date of March 10,2003. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. Drawings/specifications; it is impracticable to distribute the applicable drawings with the solicitation. The applicable drawings are available at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. If the drawings are not posted at this web site, see Clause L07-Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL,MILITARY, and COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration(base plus option years) shall not exceed seven years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class:2540,4710,4730 and 4820. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery,past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Refer to section "M". All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which if timly received will be considered by the agency. This acquisition is limited to eligible 8(a) concerns only. NAICS CIDE 331421. Eligibility ato participate may be restricted to firms in either the developmental or transitional stage. Interested 8(a) concerns should request copies of this solicitation as soon as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice upon SBA acceptance of the requirement for the Section 8(a) program.
