Description

NA The Norfolk District Corps of Engineers, phone number (757) 441-7735, is offering for sale standing timber on 342 acres at the Fort A. P. Hill Military Reservation, Virginia. Approximate timber volumes are as follows: 6281 tons pine sawtimber, 3,447 tons of pine pulp wood, 1,741 tons of hardwood sawtimber, 1,011 tons of hardwood pulpwood. For information or appointment for inspection, call Mr. Carl Berggren, at (804) 633-8431, prior to March 26, 2003. The timber is divided into three (3) item(s) for this sale. Sealed bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m., March 27, 2003, by the Acquisition, Management and Disposal Section, Real Estate Branch, Norfolk District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, 803 Front Street, Norfolk, Virginia 23510-1096, and then and there publ icly opened and announced. Forms for use in submitting bids may be obtained from Mr. Carl Berggren, at Fort A. P. Hill, Virginia or from Mr. David Parson, with the Acquisition, Management and Disposal Branch, address shown above. Terms and conditions of sale, procedure for submitt ing bids are as stated in the original contract with the only exceptions being the dates. A description of the timber is contained in the attached bid forms package. This timber will be sold by weight.
