- Description
- An Indefinite Delivery Type contract (IDTC) for a minimum quantity of 3,000 ea / maximum quantity of 6,000 ea Jackets, CVC, Cold Weather, High Temperature Resistant, Class 2 Tan 380 is anticipated. Two one-year term options will be included with the same minimum and maximum quantities. This procurement will be issued as Unrestricted. Jackets will be procured FOB destination to SNT (New Cumberland, PA) and AQ5 (Tracy, CA). Applicable specification is MIL-J-43924E dated 30 Sep 91 with pattern dated 12 Feb 87. Copy of the spec can be found at http://assist.daps.dla.mil. The PGC code is 02179. NSN: 8415-01-333-8406(s). Production lead-time is 195 days after date of award with 5 deliveries. Best Value/Source Selection procedures will be utilized. Offerors are to submit their technical proposals with documentation for the following technical factors: Product Demonstration Models (PDM), Past Performance, Socioeconomic Considerations, DLA Mentoring Business Agreements, and Javits-Wagner-O'Day Act. Prior award history is as follows: Carter Industries, Inc.; award date: Sept 30, 1996; Unit Price: $111.24; Quantity: 43,520. There was a one-year term option at $107.24 for the same quantity. The solicitation will be issued on or before March 18, 2003 (estimate).
