- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Ship Systems Engineering Station (NSWCCD-SSES) intends to award a sole source contract to York International Corporation of York, Pennsylvania to perform a conceptual design study to improve operational capabilities of SSN 688 class 150-ton CFC-114 Air Conditioning Plants during warm water operations. York International Corporation is the original designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the subject Air Conditioning Plants and there is no other company known to possess the prerequisite technical data and qualified personnel required to perform the study. It is anticipated that the contract will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (Completion) type contract, awarded on a sole source basis under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), based on only one responsible source.
