Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport intends to award a sole source contract to Arnold Magnetics Corp., 841 Avenida Adaso, Camarillo, CA 83012 for ten (10) each AC-DC Modular Power Supplies, Model EL1X-6046. The Arnold Magnetic Power Supply is currently being used on the All Up Round Electronic Simulators and was designed utilizing this particular power supply. Arnold Magnetics Corporation is the only known source for this particular power supply. Use of another power supply would require extensive and costly research, documentation and redesign of the end item and its documentation. The Government intends to issue a written quote on or about 25 Mar 2003. Delivery will be F.O.B. Destination, Newport, RI on or about 25 April 2003. The Government intends to award a single contract on a Firm Fixed Price basis per FAR Parts 12 and 13. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Government.
