Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for forty-five (45) each Advanced Tactical Display Centers (ATDC) for use as an element of the Navy Surface Advanced Tomahawk Weapons Control System (ATWCS). The awardee of the contract will submit a first article for Design Verification Testing. After successfully passing the testing, the additional amount of forty-four (44) units will be purchased. The ATDC is a multi-purpose dual display console integrated into a militarized structure. The ATDC shall provide the following major functions ? remote video interface, remote operator interface, shipboard communications, and power and status. Design of the ATDC and details of the functions it shall perform will be based on specifications contained in the solicitation. Delivery will be made to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Keyport, WA. The commercial solicitation (NAICS 334511) will be issued under full and open procedures on or about 23 April 2003 with a closing date of 16 May 2003. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to joshua_c_carter@puget.fisc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Please do not call with questions regarding the posting of the solicitation on NECO until after the posting date, 23 April 2003. No bidder list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
