Description

NA The Capital District Contracting Center intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to provide medical professional physician support services for the emergency department at DeWitt Army Community Hospital, Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Services consist of but is not limited to overall emergency room management twenty-four (24) hours a day seven (7) days a week. Overall staff management will be the responsibility of the contractor. Physicians shall be Board Prepared/Board Certified (BP/BC) in emergency medic ine. Emergency physicians who have completed a residency in emergency medicine must cover 50% of the scheduled hours. All contract physicians shall possess an unrestricted license to practice medicine and the required Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registra tion in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. This will be awarded as a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements Contract that will consist of a six (6) month base year and four (4) 12-month option years which may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This action is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 622110 with a small business size standard of $29.0 million. This is a best value contract to be evaluated and award ed based on technical capabilities/understanding of the requirement, management, past performance, and price; award could be made to other than lowest price.
