Description

NA Work consists of removing approximately 413,000 cubic yards of material from the ocean bar with disposal in the near shore disposal area. Estimated cost range of the project is $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. Plans & specifications will be issued on CD-ROM ONLY, on or about 30 April 2003. They will be FREE OF CHARGE and should not be returned. Amendments will be made through either a 3.5 diskette, CD-ROM, or hard paper copy form. All Bid Forms, Bid Bonds and other normal documents required for bid submittal SH ALL BE IN PAPER MEDIUM. Electronic medium for bid submittal SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED. Requests for solicitation documents may be mailed to USAED, WILMINGTON, ATTN: HILDA AYERS, PO BOX 1890, WILMINGTON, NC 28402-1890 (69 Darlington Avenue 28403) or FAX TO 910-251-4454. Requests should include Solicitation No. DACW54-03-B-0010, as well as requesting Company name, physical address, telephone and FAX numbers for a Point of Contact. If a Large Business is selected for this contract, it must comply with FAR 52 .219-9 regarding the requirement for a SMALL BUSINESS SUBCONTRACTING PLAN to be submitted and approved PRIOR to contract award. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. NAICS 237990. CONTRACTOR MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE DOD CCR DATABASE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWA RD UNDER THIS SOLICITATION (see www.ccr.gov).
