- Description
- The United States Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) has a requirement for clerical services. This is an OMB Circular A-76 Cost Comparison Study. The purpose of this study is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing clerical services for a location in Indianapolis, Indiana, IN. In accordance with OMB Circular A-76, commercial offers will be compared with the Government's costs to perform the above services. The commercial proposals will not result in a contract if Government performance is determined to be more cost advantageous. Government personnel currently provide these services. Major components of this work include: 1) Provides direct clerical support tasks and assistance requiring proficient use of computer applications. 2) Maintains schedules and activities. 3) Manages all incoming and outgoing telephone calls. 4) Receives visitors. 5) Performs office reproduction services. 6) Provides mail services to principle staff. 7) Processes faxes; requests supplies, equipment, furniture, and services. 8) Prepares and manage staff calendars. 9) Provides meeting and conference arrangement services and presentations. 10) Processes training requests. 11) Processes travel requests and travel vouchers for principle staff. 12) Provides file management services. 13) Provides written communication support services to include typing and proofing, basic clerical research, and support services. A single award is anticipated for this solicitation. Any contract resulting from this solicitation will have a one-year base period and four one-year renewal options. The selection process will utilize the lowest price technically acceptable method. This will be a negotiated contract and oral presentations may be required. Technical and cost proposals are required. Any resulting award will be a firm-fixed price service contract. This solicitation is set-aside for Small Business NAICS Code 561110 Office Administrative Services $6.0 Million. The solicitation will be available on or about April 21, 2003, and will be available solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at Fedbizopps.gov. Instructions for downloading the solicitation are available at that website. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available.
