Description
The Navy's intent is to determine feasible alternatives to its Ballistic Missile Defense requirements for threats of less than 1000km in range. To this end, industry is encouraged to submit a letter of interest and detailed concept papers explaining their approach and best technical solutions to meet these requirements. This call for papers supports the planning for a potential program and possible competition as early as FY06. Concept/technical papers are to be submitted by 1 July 2003 to Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command, Attn: 02532H (David Hance), 1333 Isaac Hull Avenue, SE STOP 2040, Washington Navy Yard, DC 20376-2040. After receipt of papers, the Navy may request additional information from the respondents. *****!!
